A large part of the reason we are so successful is due to our senior managers having the respect of our team due to having come from the grass route level working their way through the various ranks of management providing Group 1 Security with over 40 years experience at all levels across a multitude of industries.
Bradley Neville – Managing Director
Bradley has over 14 years experience in the security industry working and managing various contracts as diverse as NSW Government Health through to some of the largest shopping centres in NSW. During Bradley's time working in these environments his frustration with trying to provide a premium service whilst watching fellow colleagues being poorly treated by company owners became too much; so in 2006 he started Group 1 Security. Starting out with just a few clients on the NSW Central Coast Bradley has turned Group 1 Security into a multimillion dollar company supplying premium security services nationally to multiple high profile Australian companies whilst retaining his original vision of looking after both the client and staff.
Murry Taylor – Chief Operating Officer
Murry has over 21 years experience in the security industry with more than 12 of these in senior management roles across both the public and private sector. Murry held multiple senior management roles within RailCorp (one of Australia's largest public transport organisations) such as Chief Transit Officer, Manager Graffiti & Vandalism Taskforce, Deputy Principal Transit Officer, Manager Drug Evaluation Unit & Principal Transit Officer Operations. Moving into the private sector Murry has held managerial roles at both state and national levels such as NSW/ACT Loss Prevention Manager Big W, National Loss Prevention Manager, National Risk Manager & Group Risk Manager Retail Adventures. Murry holds tertiary qualifications in Security (Risk) Management, OH&S, Business Management & Training. Murry is also a regular expert columnist for the Retail Media Group on topics relating to security, theft and fraud.
Justin Smith – National Operations Manager
Justin has over 20 years’ experience in training and loss prevention management at state and national levels. After holding the position of State Training Manager VIC for Coles Myer Justin decided to move into loss prevention. Some of the managerial positions Justin has held in Loss Prevention are – State Loss Prevention Manager VIC/SA for Australian Discount Retail Traders, Regional Loss Prevention Manager VIC/SA/WA/TAS Retail Adventures, Regional Loss Prevention Manager Cotton On, National Asset Protection Manager Retail Adventures and National Asset Protection Manager AUS/NZ Lincraft. During these roles Justin has been responsible for all security, safety & risk strategies for up to 380 sites.
Nick Goussis – Project Manager
Nick has over 20 years’ experience in the electrical and electronic security industry having held state and national positions. A qualified electrician Nick has managed a variety of complex electronic security projects from commencement to completion including the development and submission of tenders, specifications and mark-ups of floor plans for CCTV, alarms and access control systems, management of resources ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget. In a previous role Nick was the Service Manager for Qantas (Globally) and received formal recognition from Qantas for his level of service. Other major clients Nick has worked with are Coles, TAB Limited, DOCS, multiple Court Houses and Harvey Norman just to name a few.
Roger Bramwell – Key Account Manager
Roger has been involved in the security industry for over 30 years working for multiple companies in a variety of positions. With formal qualifications in Business Management and telecommunications Roger has held managerial roles in various private companies, run his own contracting business and has managed national accounts including Customs Boarder Protection Australia. An integral member of the Group 1 Security team; Roger has the diversity/capability to both install electronic security systems and liaise with senior and executive management. A high level communicator, Roger’s years of experience provide great comfort to Group 1 Security’s clients.
